Tom Morgan is Owner and President of Harrington Electric Co. He started with Harrington officially in 1978, but worked part-time for the company as far back as 1971 when his father, Jim Morgan, Sr. purchased the company. Tom earned an electrical engineering degree at the University of Cincinnati, and shortly after secured his Ohio Professional Engineer registration. He has engaged with several community boards and is an avid volunteer. Tom shares a deep love of Cleveland history and developments that make our area “the best location in the nation”. He is the father of two adult children (Mike and Kellie) and has one grandson (Leo).
Brian Robinette
Vice President of Service
Brian has been in the Electrical and Technology industry for over 30 years as an electrician, foreman, estimator, and project manager. Brian has significant experience with mission-critical data center infrastructure that includes electrical systems redundancy and UPS, paralleling and generation, distribution, BMS site monitoring and management, systems interface, EPO and control, fire suppression and detection, and assistant to design and build. Brian is passionate about customer service and building long-term relationships with clients. Recently built and managed projects include Cleveland Clinic data center and satellite data centers, Fidelity Voice & Data Center, Cogent Communications, Penske Logistics Data Center, Level 3 and Cleveland Department of Public Safety satellite data centers. Brian is a “gear head” and likes to rebuild classic cars and motorcycles as a hobby. His two sons (Anthony and Nick) are also in the electrical industry.
Jerry Strand
Vice President Electrical Construction
Jerry has been with Harrington Electric Co. since 2017 at which time he brought decades of estimating and project management experience to our team. His strong electrical knowledge started in the USAF working in SAC on avionics and then to the DOD as a test engineer on anti-missile systems for the USN. His 30 years in the electrical construction industry, both in the field and in the office, has given him the exposure and challenges of just about every aspect of the trade. He enjoys spending his off time traveling with his wife and spending time with his family of adult children and grandchildren.
Christina Lutz
Systems Specialist Estimator/Project Manager
Christina is a veteran in the Physical Security Industry with 17 years of in-depth experience prior to joining our Telecommunications department in early 2021. She has extensive project management experience, assisting our partners in successfully attaining all project objectives. She excels in building trusted, lasting relationships, ensuring customers understand and utilize every benefit associated with their security systems. Christina and her husband enjoy their community as officers at the Eagles, hiking, traveling and spending time with their two adult daughters.
John Brown
Electrical Field Superintendent
John supervises all aspects of the electrical side of field operations and is the company’s Safety Manager. With over 40 years of electrical experience and 24 years with Harrington Electric Co., John has a very broad knowledge of all things electrical. John is a hands-on supervisor who examines plans and materials before they are sent to the job-site to ensure that the appropriate supporting fasteners, connectors, tools, and equipment are on-hand for efficient and code-worthy installations. Away from work, Mr. Brown enjoys boating, fishing, and gourmet cooking.
Eric Sinley
NORA Service Superintendent
Eric has been in the electrical trade since 1996 and with Harrington Electric since 2014. His work duties include LED lighting audits and managing the workforce in the small works division. Eric, his wife Kim and their children Madalyne and Max enjoy hunting ,fishing and camping in their spare time.
John Costella, RCDD
Telecommunications Estimator/Project Manager
John has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, starting out as a field technician with a BICSI Installer certification and Technician certification. In 2006 John obtained his RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification. John has extensive knowledge and experience with fiber optics, copper systems, and design and installation.
Rich Harrold
Telecommunications Estimator/Project Manager
Rich joined Harrington Electric in April of 2014 and brought 18-years of experience in the successful design, implementation and project management of Information Transport Systems (ITS). Rich has designed and overseen the installation of copper and fiber optic systems for Southwest General Health Center, Hathaway Brown School, Gesu Catholic School, The Cleveland Division of Water Pollution Control, and The University of Toledo Health Science Campus to name a few. Rich has also collaborated with multiple Architectural and Engineering firms such CH2M Hill, DLZ Architects and Engineers, Ralph Tyler Services and Duket Architects Planners to provide design and construction bid specification services.
Nader Ghassemi
Telecommunications Estimator/Project Manager
Nader has been with Harrington Electric since 2015. He has been in the telecommunication industry for 17 years and has performed as a technician, foreman, estimator and project manager. He has worked in many different sectors of the industry including hospitals/health facilities, office and apartment buildings, colleges, and K-12 schools throughout Ohio. He has been involved in management, implementation, & installation of many projects (campus wide fiber backbone and completely new Data Center, Lakeland College). Before his move into Telecommunication industry Nader worked at Architectural, Engineering, & Consulting firms as a CAD designer/manager. He is a member of BICSI. He holds BICSI Technician Certificates, A.A.S. degree in Computer Aided Design and Microelectronics. Nader and his wife enjoy spending time with their two daughters, family and especially their grandson.
Travis Fujikawa
Assistant Warehouse Manager & Driver
Travis has been with Harrington Electric since early 2020. Prior to joining Harrington he worked for a solar photo-voltaic company. When not at work, Travis enjoys spending time with his daughters (Milena and Noreen).
Sarah Spurbeck
Office Manager
Sarah is an all-around “free-safety” administrator. With 14 years in the electrical industry, Sarah assists estimator/project managers in all three divisions, Construction, Service, and Telecommunications. Sarah also supports the accounting operation managing payables and receivables. Sarah also assisted with the development of this website. In early 2020 Sarah and her husband Brandon became the proud parents of two beautiful twin baby boys (Benjamin and Liam).
Marisa Paulitzky
Administrative Assistant
Marisa has been with Harrington Electric Co. since 1990. She plays a central role in supporting estimating and project management of all three divisions: Construction, Service, and Telecommunications. Known by building officials throughout northeast Ohio, Marisa is Cleveland’s best and most well-known professional at coordinating licensing, securing building and fire alarm permits, and coordinating inspections. She also manages bonds for municipalities, bid-bonds and performance-bonds. Marisa is an avid Jazzercise instructor and keeps us all on our toes. Marisa and her husband Jim enjoy the closeness of their young adult children (Kristen and Danny) who live in the Cleveland area.
James Ziegan
Energy Management Specialist
James Ziegan is the Founder and Owner of Ohio Energy Management and has 12 years of experience in the Energy Procurement and Management Industry. Using realtime data, James Ziegan has developed a sales and marketing platform that has been highly successful in the industry. Given Harrington Electric’s tremendous track record over the past 113 years and Ohio Energy Management’s sales and marketing capabilities, James Ziegan and Ohio Energy Management have partnered with Harrington Electric Co. in an effort to obtain new clients in the LED and Energy Efficiency markets.
